Renew, rework, begin anew.
This has been my mantra the past year.
Not long ago, I worked for a couple of photography studios and said “Yes” to any job that came my way. I thought shooting weddings like crazy, meant that I was successful. Unfortunately, my work began to feel ingenuine and I was starting to feel burnout. So, I stopped working for other studios and paused to reflect on my wedding work.
I started using black and white film again, and my passion for wedding photography has been reignited. Furthermore, I began to understand the importance of my role as a wedding photographer.
Where I’m heading, is a place that feels original, true, and real. Most importantly, I want to give couples the best version of me.
Here are some favorite black and white film shots from the last year.
