So, I am a part of this very talented group of Hawaii photographers that do a monthly photo challenge and this is my interpretation of Long Exposure.
I had been wanting to photograph, my good friend Melissa, one last time, before she left on her travels, so we did this fun little shoot one night, in Kihei, Hawaii. I was very pleased with the outcome of these photographs because they really feel like “me”.
In the first set of images, I shot with film and exposed each frame between one and two seconds. The tripod was not in working order, otherwise, I may have tried a longer exposure, however, I’m quite pleased with the way film captured light in these images.
In the second set of images, I shot digitally between two and four seconds.
Some images were shot digitally.
